The Problem

Washed-ashore eelgrass, put to work.

Eelgrass plays a vital role in coastal ecosystems, supporting marine life, stabilising the seabed, filtering particles, storing carbon, and retaining nutrients.

When eelgrass washes ashore and is left to decompose, it can return nutrients to sensitive coastal areas.

That's why we only collect washed-ashore eelgrass from land, without disturbing living eelgrass meadows.

The material is dried locally, then processed at our facility in Denmark for consistent quality in compounding.
